Contributed strategically to the planning, management, and execution of launching a new marketing and design agency, Orange Otter Marketing. Specifically oversaw and helped develop the company brand and ID system including logo, messaging, website, and overall style & aesthetic.

Led planning, design, development, and implementation of a complete wholesale ecommerce site overhaul -- moving from a dated Joomla CMS to a more current, industry standard Shopify platform.

The results were improved usability, a 100% decrease in technical and layout errors, and better SEO for top 10 search rankings.

Served as visual content and brand manager for the alternative rock project, Courtney Can't Park. Created and scheduled social media posts, designed and managed band website, developed and implemented promotional campaigns, designed album covers.

The result was a three fold increase in social media followers and a doubling of worldwide listeners on major streaming platforms.

End-To-End Branding
Is It Watchable?

Created a complete branding aesthetic for a short-run YouTube show, including logo, motion graphics, chroma key backgrounds, social ads, thumbnails, and profile banners.

​

The result was a web show with production values beyond the standard talking head and that quickly grew to an audience of over 1,000 subscribers at its peak.

Beginning with a single customer, I partnered with a colleague to start Frog Island Creative Services, a provider of marketing and design services to small- and medium-size businesses.

The results were an eventual roster of over 65 satisfied customers and being named 2012’s “Best Ad Agency/Design Firm” in Washtenaw County by Ann Arbor's Current Magazine.

Served as the lead marketing subject matter/intellectual property expert while leading a team of writers, designers, and an events coordinator during a year-long, post-acquisition handoff.

Site Branding for Disney's Contemporary Resort
Arbortext, Inc.

Marketing Manager

Led the branding of atriums, corridors, and presentation spaces at Disney's Contemporary Resort with signs and banners for Arbortext's annual users' group conference.

​

The result was an event space that was transformed to look and feel more like an Arbortext facility than a Disney property.
